The Hero’s Mom Is An Executive of the Demon King Chapter 1

Next Chapter

Hey! Humans have led an army. Roughly speaking, it’s about five thousand men.

A wolf beastman, who was guarding the fort, popped into my room.

(I was just enjoying my afternoon tea!)

The honey and tea gifted by the Demon King were excellent. I wanted to take my time and enjoy it a little longer.

I sighed and put my cup of tea on the table.

Most demons and beastmen are nocturnal. The demons in this fort are no exception, and many of them are asleep. The only people who can immediately respond to them are about eighty watchmen, twenty demons of the captain’s class, and three executives.

However, as one of the executives, I’m completely useless when it comes to fighting.

(It can’t be helped. (I’m human.)

Yes, I’m just a person. I’m just a regular person. I’m an elderly woman of about 40 who can’t use magic, let alone a sword.

So even though I’m an executive, everyone uses the same language towards me.

Well, I’m not racist or anything. I’m also using the same language to everyone except the Demon Lord.

(I mean, how could I allow the enemy to progress to a position where I can see them from the fort? Those guards are they’re slacking off?.)

There’s a lot I want to say, but for now, I need to find out what’s going on.

I put on my robe and headed to the top floor of the fort.

The other officers were already waiting on the top floor.

”What, you’re here too?”

Shiva, a dark elf with long, silvery straight hair and brown skin, spoke to me.

His slitted eyes were so cool. His golden eyes were mysterious and handsome. The slender, tall, slender figure, dressed in black and silver armour trimmed with gold, ah it was always a sight to behold.

He looked like a young man in his twenties, but he’s said to have lived over 200 years.

(Anti-aging tips, I wish you could tell me!)

Well, I’m just saying.

I peeked out the window of the fort and looked out.

As reported, an army of armour-clad troops was closing in on the fort.

Even though it was daytime, there must be some very capable people who were able to get through the forest where many demons lurked safely.

As I was pondering while looking at the army below me, I was suddenly pulled back.

”You’re going to get hurt. The weaker ones stay back.”

With that, I was ripped from the window by a lizardman named Garon.

Covered in hard green scales and with large claws, he looked like a bipedal dinosaur.

I let my legs dangle as I was picked up by his brawny frame, which was over two meters tall.

‘All right. I’ll be quiet behind you, let me down.”

As soon as I said that, he quickly and gently set me down.

Garon is easily misunderstood because of his horrible looks and bad mouth, but he has the sweetest personality of anyone I’ve ever known.

He is the kindest person I’ve ever known, and he still cares about me like this. Garon, what a good boy.

”Apparently, they have a party of heroes with them.”

Beyond Shiva’s gaze, there was a flashy group of people who were different from the other soldiers.

”Heroes?”

‘Ah! Hey!

She shook off Garon’s stare and ran to the window again to check.

In the midst of the party of a different colour of hair, she found her son for the first time in two years, and she couldn’t help but burst into tears.

‘Ren… you’re safe.

She was both relieved and filled with mixed feelings.

(How could this have happened?)
