A hero had been awakened.
The maidservant who had been looking after the boy came to report on him.
‘Ohh he’s finally awake, how is he?
“He’s clear and calm. He just had a drink of water. He appears to be quite hungry. I’m going to have to bring him some food.”
“Good. You will continue to look after him.”
“If he asks you anything, don’t say anything. I will explain the details to you later.”
“Please let me know when he’s finished eating.”
“Very well. Now, if you’ll excuse me.”
The Priest muttered as he made the maidservant step back.
”It looks like the hero has finally woken up. Now, what kind of person is he…”
I don’t think the goddess is wrong in her decisions, but he’s that mother’s son.
After a while, the maidservant reported that the brave men had finished eating.
The Priest stopped the maidservant who was about to leave.
“Did he ask any questions”
“Yes, sir. He asked where we were, and if his mother was with us.”
“You didn’t answer any of the questions, did you?”
“No sir. I have been informed that the Priest will provide a full explanation later.”
“Good. What was your impression of him?”
When asked, the maidservant thought for a moment and then said
“I thought he was well raised.”
“What makes you say that?”
“When I gave him the water, he thanked me for it.”
He also whispered short prayers before and after the meal.”
“The way he ate was calm and elegant. You couldn’t compare him to any other child his age in the city.”
“Okay….. Thank you. You may leave now.”
At the words of the Priest, the maidservant bowed and left and the head Priest said.
”It seems that he is a perfect person to be a brave man.”
“I realised after talking to his mother that the inhabitants of the other world seem to be highly educated.”
“However, that’s why things might not go our way.”
The Priest turned to us.
‘I will convince him to become the hero. You all should say nothing and just go along with the conversation.”
“First of all, I would like to confirm that he is a brave man, just in case. The Priest will take the pearl and stand behind me.”
“Alvin, you will wait outside the room until I call you.”
“Now let us go.”
