He smiled softly as he poured himself another cup of tea.
‘Thank you. Oh, I’m sorry I haven’t introduced myself yet. My name is Morris. Nice to meet you.”
“It’s nice to meet you too. Mr. Morris.”
“You can call me Morris. I’ll call you Miho.”
“Is Morris close to Shiva?
”Yes, he’s a companion who served the Demon King as an executive with me from the previous Dark Era.”
“He was calm and intelligent, which earned him the trust of the Lord, however, he was also very reserved. Berger, who also had a high fighting ability, was a one-sided rival. After the Demon King-sama was sealed off, Shiva had cut off all interaction with the other executives.”
“Lately, he was seen shopping for food and other items in the village, and we were able to locate him.”
“I didn’t think he’d be adopting Lizardman children or hiding humans while hiding out in a forest like this.”
“Oh, really… is that so?”
Shiva, as Morris told me, felt more and more like a stranger.
All I know is that he’s a disappointingly handsome guy with a sweet, huge appetite comparable to Garon.
He’s said to have high magic power, but all I’ve actually seen is him casting ice magic to cool off pudding and using recovery magic
(Speaking of recovery magic…)
I looked at Garon.
Thanks to Shiva, the wound he received from Berger had healed nicely. Not a bit of scarring.
The side effects didn’t make Garon’s body any bigger.
But the next morning, his pecs were raised and his abdominal muscles were split into six pieces, giving him a stunning macho body.
“What did you do?” When I asked, Shiva silently looked away.
Obviously, it was the effect of Shiva’s recovery magic.
Garon said, “It looks strong! Cool!”… I cried inwardly, though I was happy to see him.
It wasn’t pretty.
My sweet little Garon was now rugged than ever.
As Morris was finishing his pancakes, Shiva returned.
“Hi, grandpa. We have a guest.”
Shiva looked at me as he handed the hunted prey to Garon.
“Hey Shiva, it’s been a while. Sorry to bother you.”
“Morris. What a surprise to see you here. Did I keep you waiting?”
“No, it was just a sudden visit. We were just having some snacks.”
Looking at the empty plates on the table, Shiva asked me.
“Oh, I’m sorry. It’s finished.”
“What? is it too much to ask that I have a snack left for me?”
“I’m sorry. But we’ll have dinner soon…”
“I’m tired of running all over the forest hunting. I want something warm and sweet to eat.”
This guy…. he’s getting old and spoiled. It’s so annoying.
“Shiva, Morris is here for a visit, okay? You need to listen to him first. I’ll go get dinner ready.”
“Oh, Morris. You can stay for dinner if you want.”
“I can’t believe I’m the only one without a snack.”
(Still not done complaining)
“I’ll make Shiva’s favourite caramelised nuts and fruit for dessert for dinner. And you can have my share.”
(So shut up and listen to me.)
(Well, What a really gluttonous guy. Morris will be surprised )
Glancing at Morris, he called Garon to his side and whispered
“Hey, who’s that guy?”
